Dividing By Zero, a Poem
Lost on a page
Pencil scratching paper again
And again the symbols etch out before me
A structure of truth
A moment of careless notation and it happened
The darkness was the first to come, but last to arrive
The emptiness of eternity flooded into an infinitely small space
The deafening silence was unbearable and eternal
All things meet in this space
This place where the finites are lost amongst the endless
The mind breaks under the weight of nothingness
Moments equate to eons
The mind becomes a cage to consciousness
We forget the I we once were
Lost to the chaos of unexistence
Eraser touches page in a place far away and within
Lost on a page
Pencil scratching paper again
And again the symbols etch out before me
A structure of truth
